Coating is not paint correction
A coating preserves the finish underneath rather than hiding haze, swirls or wash damage. Paint condition is assessed first so safe correction can be discussed where it will materially improve the result.
Coating for Sydney conditions
Road film, insects, UV exposure and frequent driving make consistent cleaning important. A prepared and coated surface is easier to maintain, but still needs regular washing and sensible care.
Combine protection by purpose
PPF and ceramic coating perform different roles. Film targets impact damage on covered areas, while coating supports surface maintenance. They can be combined where the vehicle use justifies both.

Is ceramic coating scratch-proof?
No. It does not replace PPF for impact protection and cannot prevent every scratch or wash mark.
Does a new vehicle need preparation?
Often. New paint can still have transport marks, contamination or dealer preparation defects that should be inspected first.
